Workforce Development Our case managers help prepare our youth to enter the workforce and assists them in identifying and obtaining employment opportunities.
Financial Literacy Clients learn to manage checking and savings accounts, while budgeting for daily expenses.
Life Skills Individual case managers help our youth develop every-day life skills such as cooking, housekeeping, problem-solving, grocery shopping, money management, relationship development and other tools to prepare them for self-sufficiency.
Artistic and Cultural Opportunities We support individual creativity and encourage clients to access our METEC programs offered throughout the year. Our staff also helps facilitate individual interests and participation in community and cultural events.

The Community Housing Assistance Program at Youth Continuum has been in operation since 1994, the first of its kind in the state of Connecticut.
Traditional CHAP programming is enhanced by Youth Continuum’s hands-on approach to ensuring positive youth development and 24/7 on-call care. Youth are given access to a number of support services through our MacMullen Education Training and Enrichment Center (METEC), conveniently located in downtown New Haven.
